We hosted our new pastors in our village for an intensive three-day teaching session, keeping us occupied from 6:00 am until 9:00 pm each day. Following their training, we sent them back to their respective villages equipped with 80 bags (2 tons) of cornmeal to assist our fellow Christians through the ongoing famine. The journey back to their villages, approximately 80 km away, involved transporting the cornmeal across a river using dugout canoes, loading them onto ox carts, traversing through the forest, and crossing another river before reaching their destinations.

Currently, we are actively involved in providing sustenance to seven villages where Christians from our churches reside. At the end of this month, we plan to bring the pastors back for further teachings.

With the onset of rains in December, we've experienced substantial rainfall this week, offering hope for a robust corn harvest if the rains persist. In our efforts to alleviate their immediate needs, we plan to send additional cornmeal to the villages in the first week of February. Subsequently, we anticipate they will be able to harvest their own corn. Additionally, we are providing them with vegetable seeds to plant.
