Shining Light Ministies Update
This Christmas has been very busy here at Shining Light Sioma. Travailed back to Zambia. Then started getting things working again after being gone and preparing for Christmas. We also had to make a couple for trips to Lusaka to take people to the airport and to the hospital. Then we had Christmas in the villages. It had been several months since I had word from the churches there since they do not have reliable phone services. So I was not sure how things here going with the churches we started in the villages. But I continued to prepare for the trip. Friday afternoon, I got word that they receive the messages I sent and were expecting us on Sunday (Christmas Eve).
We arrived, our church members receive with singing and Cerebration. We were so happy that the young churches that we left had continued to grow spirally and in numbers. We had people from 7 villages that attended our Christmas I brought food (corn meal, soy peaces, and chicken) with us and we eat together for 2 days. We had services and I had meetings with the church leaders it is rainy season so it would rain and we would have to find somewhere to keep dry and then would meet again. |
We are starting 2 or 3 new churches next week. This week we are having the pastors come to our village, and we will teach them for 3 days, and they will go back to their villages to pastor their churches.
We found that this year the fame had been hard on people in the villages off Sioma aria. Many people are missing meals for even three days at a time. We are working on buying 80 bags (2 tones) of corn meal to send to our village churches this week, Saturday. To help feed those that do not have enough food in our churches.<br> <br> <br> God bless yours Pastor Daniel
